APPLAUSE Performing Arts Center, a non-profit organization, is proud to present our exciting new calendar of theatrical productions for the coming Theater Season 2006-2007 providing unique musical presentations spotlighting “Kids Performing for Other Kids.” APPLAUSE has developed a wide range of topics for you to choose from for your special class trip. Each show is different utilizing acting, music and dance to highlight positive Life Themes promoting a variety of important social issues concerning Health, Wellness and Self-Esteem. Performed by Kids for Kids, each presentation is interactive, musical, and uplifting. All shows are performed at Felician College, in the John J. Breslin Theater, Lodi, New Jersey.
Our shows are not meant to lecture or to preach. Instead they are designed to inform, educate and entertain as we strive to build awareness, understanding, tolerance, compassion and kindness in children of all ages as they develop in our classrooms and communities across the country. APPLAUSE engages the arts to inspire us to be better human beings. And what better way to get kids attention than with other kids being the presenters.
Our motto is “Anything we can do…You can do!” Our performing kids are trained in the arts with a purpose to encourage kids to believe in themselves. Our performing kids are talented…but so are your kids! Each kid is talented in his/her own right. It is our job as educators to bring out those talents and gifts so each child may reach his/own potential. In fact, if you have a student or a child who is interested in being one of our performing kids please call us. We look forward to seeing you at our shows and…also being being part of them!

Kids Classic Poetry
Using wonderful poetry that all kids love this workshop is very interactive whereby kids help act out with pantomime, music and props these wonderful classical pieces of poetry. A musical bonanza aimed directly at our precious 3 to 5 year old pre-schoolers.
Sportzone
Stay fit. Stay Healthy. Sports is a positive alternative to other
negative behaviors. A little sports, A little hip hop, A little rap…contemporary song and dance to bring this theme over the goal. A Great workshop for Boys & Girls.
We Are Family
A tribute to brothers and sisters and those siblings we love to hate. Don’t have a brother or sister? An important recurring theme that we are all brothers and sisters and our World is One Big Family.
Disney Classics
Sing along with great Disney music from movies and films as we make these classic tunes come to life.

Real Kids Combating Childhood Obesity through Performing Arts is a unique and innovative project that spotlights “Kids Performing for other Kids” as they participate in an original play with a fully developed script and music called THE GARBAGE PAIL KID. These plays can be performed by real kids from real schools from any town or city in America.
All shows are performed at Felician College, in the John J. Breslin Theater, Lodi, New Jersey.
Additional theaters in New York and New Jersey are under consideration.
